Space Walk - Lycra Sensory Swing
This swing, which can be hung from a single point and made from a single layer of thick lycra fabric, offers vestibular and tactile stimuli simultaneously. Its most important feature is the creation of a wrapping and comfortable space, similar to a mother's womb for individuals. This feature provides a unique environment for moments of calming and sensory regulation.
Therapeutic Benefits
Sensory Input: Being hung from a single point allows for circular and swinging movements, while the flexible lycra fabric provides constant deep pressure (proprioceptive) and tactile input to the body.
Safe and Comfortable Space: Its body-wrapping structure helps children feel safe, calm, and take short breaks during therapy sessions.
Supported Developmental Areas
This product particularly supports areas such as Sensory Integration, Sensory Regulation (Calming), Proprioceptive System (Body Awareness), Balance and Coordination, and the Vestibular System.
