Protection Cushion Extra / Impact Pad (Mixed Filled)
Meet our "Extra" model designed to provide maximum protection in dynamic activities where Ayres Sensory Integration®️ interventions are used! Its mixed-filled structure offers a different sensory experience and support level than standard protection cushions.
Design and Filling Features
The inside of this cushion is filled with a mix of small sponge pieces, cube and large sponge pieces. This special filling provides a soft landing while offering more varied proprioceptive (deep sensory) input.
The product is made from a durable and waterproof outer fabric. Additionally, there is a separate inner cover under the zippered outer cover to make cleaning easier.
Usage Areas and Developmental Benefits
Used under swings, at the base of climbing walls, or as a standalone "impact pad", this cushion allows children to move safely. Jumping on the cushion provides strong input to the proprioceptive system, aiding sensory regulation and calming.
